I am T.A. Creech, and I write queer post-apocalypse romance stories. Tales about survival, isolation, and human connection under extreme conditions. Ones that dig into what happens to people when familiar systems fail and what remains when endurance becomes a daily choice.
My work includes the Expedition 63 series, which follows six astronauts surviving a nuclear apocalypse aboard the International Space Station. Across my stories, I’m drawn to those of quiet resilience, found family, and the stubborn persistence of love in impossible circumstances.
In my life, Stoicism is less a philosophy, as a single mom of a teenager and a whole catastrophe of cats, plus a public-facing day job, and more a survival skill. My stories show that pressure reveals character, systems have limits, and meaning is something people build together, even at the end of the world.
I share updates and works in progress on my Tumblr blog, where readers who enjoy thoughtful, character-driven speculative fiction are always welcome. You’re welcome to come with me as I leave the vastness of space to delve under mountains of an icy world while I write A Mountain’s Litany.
